UWA's Coffee for a Cause movement is your delicious way to give back.
The success of Convocation's mid-winter food drive highlighted a growing reality - many students need help with the bare essentials, not just their studies.
This International Coffee Day, Wednesday October 1st, your daily coffee can do more than wake you up — your cup can help another student in need.
We believe no student should go without the basics. Yet every week, students visit The Food Pantry seeking essentials like rice, milk, noodles, and sanitary items — because money is tight, and sometimes, meals are missed.
How to get involved
On campus (Perth or Albany)? Buy a coffee* on campus on 1 October, and $2 from every cup will go directly to The Food Pantry.
Off campus? Graduate? Just want to support? Simply donate the cost of your coffee*— flat white, chai, peppermint tea or more, online.
*Includes anything on the ‘coffee menu’.
By simply buying a coffee on campus, or donating the cost of your daily brew, you can directly support a student in need.
So, fill up your cup and make your coffee count.
