I came to UWA through Fairway, an alumni funded access program that gave me the support and pathway to university I needed as a refugee from Afghanistan and the first in my family to attend university.

I’m passionate about change and making sure no-one is left behind. Studying at UWA has opened doors for me. I’m now involved with Amnesty International UWA and the Perth Global Shapers Hub. In the spirit of giving back, I am also a mentor to other students.

My journey to UWA was supported by alumni like you.
